About
My goal is to help you achieve optimum health and wellness. Through working with my patients I have seen the impressive results that acupuncture and Chinese medicine can have, and I am grateful to be able to share this with you. I am licensed by the state of Illinois, board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and a member of the Illinois Society of Acupuncturists, and the American Society of Acupuncturists.
Many years ago a close family member of mine was stricken with mental health issues. The struggle to find the right diagnosis, the right therapist, the right combination of drugs, the emotional struggle knowing this would be a lifelong journey, and the struggle knowing the drugs were so hard on the body; this is what drives me to help those who walk into my office. It has become my passion to provide my patients with options for health care that help their bodies heal naturally, and bring some sense of control back to those who sometimes feel their health is out of their control.
I am here to meet you where you are in your health journey. Whether you are exploring acupuncture for the first time, or you have made a commitment to use complimentary medicine whenever possible; or you may have come to my office in desperation for answers, I am here for you. I am here to meet you where you are in that journey, provide the best care I can, and educate you on how you can help yourself so that you can feel a sense of control over your own health again.
I treat many conditions, including a large number of chronic and acute pain issues, digestive problems, allergies, headaches/migraines women’s health issues, autoimmune conditions, and many more. I love helping people feel whole again! Because of my family experience with mental health conditions, my passion has become helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, insomnia, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
